Assisted Living Management Certification Program – April 2025

Program Description

This in-person ALMC program is designed to provide aspiring and current Assisted Living Managers with the comprehensive knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in this demanding role. From understanding state and federal regulations to mastering staff management, financial operations, and emergency management, participants will gain insights and tools to lead with confidence and integrity.

The ALMC Program fulfills the Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals, & Licensing’s regulation requiring new Assisted Living Program Managers to complete a management class within six months of hire, including at least six hours on Iowa rules and laws.
