2025 IHCA Foundation Member Employee Scholarship
This $1,500 scholarship, made possible by IPALTC, Nurse Connect, ICAP, IHCA Districts, Assured Partners, BCG, Blue Stone Therapy, Consonus Pharmacy, Lee Agency, Martin Bros., McKesson, NuCara Pharmacy + Home Medical, Right Dose Pharmacy and Provider Partners, is for employees of IHCA member organizations looking to advance their education.
This year we are offering scholarships for employees interested in pursuing nursing, health care administration, or physical or occupational therapy programs. Scholarships are for the 2025-2026 academic year. A total of 34 scholarships are available. Applications for this scholarship program will open on March 31, 2025, and close on May 31, 2025.

Scholarship criteria and information
Applicants for the IHCA Foundation Member Employee Scholarship must meet all the criteria listed below to qualify:
- Work for an IHCA member facility in good standing at the time of application and at the time the scholarships are awarded.
- Enrolled or accepted in an accredited school of nursing, long-term care or health care administration program, physical or occupational therapy program and taking classes during the 2025-2026 academic year.
- Submit a complete application form, including 500-word essay, acceptance letter or transcript and one letter of recommendation, by May 31, 2025.
Scholarship award process
- The IHCA Foundation Board of Directors will judge qualified applications.
- Recipients will be notified of the results by the end of July.
- Awarded scholarship funds are placed in the care of the recipient’s approved educational institution by the end of August, to be credited to the recipient’s tuition and/or fees in the 2025-2026 academic year.
