Program Description
IHCA’s Advanced Strategies for Infection Prevention and Control Workshop is designed to provide comprehensive training and knowledge enhancement for professionals working in senior care settings. This workshop will delve into advanced strategies, protocols, and technologies aimed at preventing and controlling infections in senior care facilities. Participants will gain insights into emerging challenges, best practices, and evidence-based interventions to promote a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
Objectives
- Understand the principles and importance of infection prevention and control in senior care settings.
- Explore advanced strategies for surveillance, detection, and response to infectious diseases within senior care facilities.
- Discuss the role of leadership and multidisciplinary collaboration in implementing effective infection control programs.
