Blueprint for OASIS Accuracy Workshop – October 2024
Two full days of OASIS-E data collection rule and guidance training, with an optional certificate for OASIS Specialist-Clinical Exam Administration.
Experience OASIS training in an immersive and engaging atmosphere based on the most current CMS guidance available. This workshop provides the nation’s best education for learning and refining your OASIS coding knowledge, with focus on the new OASIS-E items and evolving guidance. This workshop is developed, continually updated, and presented by the OASIS Answers’ Blueprint Team. The training is targeted to field clinicians, clinical supervisors, OASIS educators and reviewers/auditors, quality improvement staff, and those preparing for the COS-C Exam.
Join the comprehensive and nationally acclaimed two-day Blueprint for OASIS Accuracy workshop and learn to confidently teach, audit and collect OASIS-E items accurately. Our instructors use their many years and varied home healthcare experiences to guide the attendees through reliable patient scenarios that illustrate and reinforce pertinent OASIS coding concepts. Through large and small group problem-solving discussions, attendees will apply coding instructions to more than 50 application scenarios, solidifying mastery of concepts and providing excellent preparation for the open-book COS-C Exam.
Workshop educational objectives include:
- Selecting accurate OASIS responses based on patient-based scenarios
- Increasing accuracy of OASIS data, resulting in valid quality measurement and payment
- Increasing compliance with CMS expectations and coding guidance
Rather than provide opinions, assumptions, or unfounded interpretations, the Blueprint presenters model reliance on CMS guidance documents and provide strategies to boost confidence and performance in utilizing practical strategies to achieve OASIS accuracy.
