  This session will provide an essential overview of environmental cleaning standards and infection prevention practices in long-term care facilities. Participants will learn about the latest protocols for maintaining a clean and safe environment, the role of cleaning in preventing infections, and strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The session will emphasize practical approaches to reducing infection risks and safeguarding resident health. 

Essential Practices for Routine Maintenance and Inspections in LTC
Speakers: Kevin Hess, Regional Operations Manager, Midwest Alarm Services, & Chris Smith, Project Manager, Midwest Alarm Services

  This session will focus on the critical practices required for effective routine maintenance and inspections in long-term care facilities. The Role of Environmental Services in Emergency Management
Speaker: Brian Feist, Senior Quality Improvement Facilitator, Telligen

  This training session will explore the vital role of Environmental Services in the emergency management framework of long-term care facilities. Participants will learn how Environmental Services teams contribute to disaster preparedness, response, and recovery efforts. The session will cover key responsibilities, including maintaining clean and safe environments during emergencies, supporting evacuation procedures, and ensuring swift restoration of essential services.
