Charge Nurse LPN/RN

Some core job responsibilities include:
• Communicate effectively and appropriately within internal and external relationships, along with the ability to work effectively and communicate with persons with dementia. Become familiar with resident’s care plans and perform the nursing actions of written care plan. Assess emergency situations and respond to them according to established guidelines as evident by proper documentation, consultation with the physician, and hospital if needed.
• Demonstrate knowledge, proficiency, and competency in use of job specific skills and equipment. Administer medications according to facility policies and procedures. Note and follow through with physician orders and within a timely manner.
• Take the initiative get the job done and lead, monitor, and mentor other staff. Work with others to share skills, knowledge and resources through personal involvement and engagement to reach individual and team goals.
• Accept special assignments willingly and is open to new ideas. Recognize, respect, and embrace different viewpoints. Embrace change with an open mind.
• Understand and comply with organizational, departmental, and regulatory policies, procedures, practices or standards.
