Clinical Manager

Leave the traditional clinical setting behind and join our fun and dynamic team at Taylor County Public Health. We are seeking a full-time Clinical Manager to oversee our home health program, lead a clinical team, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

This position is based in our Bedford, IA office. The Clinical Manager will supervise the clinical staff, coordinate patient care, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. In addition, this role will also assist with disease investigation efforts, immunization services, provide direct patient care, and conduct community education and services to meet the needs of the communities we serve in Taylor and Adams counties.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and mentor staff. We prefer a working knowledge of public health regulations and guidelines, as well as experience in the home health setting, but it’s not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working closely with staff, clients, medical providers, and community partners. This role requires flexibility and a commitment to delivering high-quality services to the community.

This full-time position works Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with limited on-call hours. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license and 2 years of recent supervisory experience in a clinical or office setting is preferred. All employees must pass criminal background checks and abuse registry checks.
