Clinical Services Coordinator (RN) in Assisted Living

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Clinical Services Coordinator (Registered Nurse) in Assisted Living to join our Cedar Falls community. Your day-to-day will include (but not limited to) building relationships with those you serve and work alongside, supervising the resident care received, and accurately communicating, documenting and administering needed medications/treatments/etc. based on physician orders. What you’ll do:
Functions as part of the management team by guiding and directing resident care, maintaining awareness of the condition of all residents under your care.
Create and maintain individualized service plans for all tenants based off assessment and review of services.
Effectively communicates resident needs with physicians and immediate supervisor
Accurately administers all medications, treatments and physician orders; taking ultimate responsibility for resident care
Coordinates preparation and planning of resident admission; giving proper recognition to the real and potential contribution of family and others in planning nursing care
Provides for emotional and physical comfort and safety of residents, and emotional support to families
Supervises, assists, consults with and teaches Resident Assistants, CNA’s, and Medication Managers.
What you’ll need:
Graduate of a state board approved RN school
Currently licensed in Iowa
Current in CPR certification or willing to achieve it
Able and willing to work weekends and holidays as required/needed
Exceptional attendance
