Position Summary:
Provide personalized care to residents, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
Foster independence among residents, contributing to their overall well-being.
Keep supervising charge nurses informed about residents’ status throughout shifts.
Contribute valuable insights to residents’ care plans based on your observations and knowledge.
Implement care plans within established policies and procedures.
Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to proper lifting and transfer procedures.
Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
Uphold nursing assistant certification and attend 12 in-service programs annually.

Requirements:
Mandatory state certification as a nursing assistant.
Thorough understanding of certified nursing assistant duties.
Highly developed observation skills.
Essential qualities include tolerance, patience, empathy, and concern.
Functional literacy in English.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a similar role or a related field is preferred.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is advantageous.
Willingness to undergo background checks as required by state regulations.
