Content Marketing Specialist

1st shift: Full-time opportunity available

DUTIES: Manage WHC website content production and placement, to include editorial calendars, copywriting, photography, shooting and editing video, SEO and data analytics. Coordinate with various departmental managers to ensure creation of relevant and engaging content. Co-produce and edit monthly newsletter, contributing copy and photos. Develop marketing collateral including brochures, viewbooks, flyers, digital sign graphics and more. Work with CCO on news releases and media outreach to tell the story of Western Home Communities to the greater community.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, communications, journalism, digital marketing or related field. Minimum two to five years of work in a public relations-related field. Proficient knowledge of digital marketing tactics, SEO practices, website content management systems, social media channels and Google Analytics. Experienced with employee intranets. Demonstrated ability to shoot and edit video to create compelling stories. Computer and web based skills. Must have strong writing and interpersonal skills. Ability to read, write and speak fluent English.
