Urgent Need for Terrific Home Care Associates!
The premier elegant retirement community in Des Moines has part-time and full-time openings for regularly-scheduled, ongoing caregiver positions in our ON-SITE Home Care Services department.
If you are passionate about Excellent Caregiving, value getting to know Amazing People, and care about being a Resource for Daily Living Experiences, we want to get to know you better! Qualities desired are patience for a slower pace, passion for the aging population, and a high level of commitment to self-responsibility.
Our goal with our department is to be the in-town daughters for those of our independent living residents who don’t have daughters in town or whose daughters are otherwise engaged in their own busy lives. We provide all types of cares you would provide to your own aging parents who wish to stay in their homes as long as possible:
Assist with daily living needs including meal preparation, calendar monitoring, bathing and dressing assistance, companionship, medication reminders, tidying up, and more
Proficiency with tablet and software necessary for reporting visit details, must be able to communicate effectively in the team environment
Ability to quickly establish comfort-level with new people and work successfully with a variety of ages and personalities
Do it all right here on site – not traveling throughout the city!
Schedule is flexible. Team is supportive and dynamic. Pace can be fast at times.
Rate of pay varies depending on education and experience. CNA certification and experience not required but are a definite bonus.
