Director Of Nursing

West Point Care Center is a skilled nursing facility

We are looking for a Director of Nursing that desires to be part of a caring long term care family. You will be overseeing the nursing operations of the facility. While WPCC prides itself in providing quality care, you will be working with the team to provide an atmosphere where attention to quality standards, policies, and education is paramount.

Responsibilities:
Evaluate and oversee all nursing personnel
Assist the ADON with scheduling if needed
Work with the Corporate Nurse to develop and enforce policies to meet federal and state regulaory requirements.
Assist the admission team to organize and communicate admissions
Share call every 4 weeks
Work with Management to maintain open lines of communication.
Resolve issues and deficiencies when needed
Knowledge of federal and state regulations for skilled nursing is a plus
Supervisory experience is preferred
Desire and ablity to communicate with all departments
Must be an RN with an Iowa license in good standing
Valid nursing and CPR certification
