Director of Nursing

The Life Center is a premier, non-profit, nursing and rehabilitation center in Des Moines, Iowa. We offer Skilled/Rehabilitation, Long-Term Nursing and Alzheimer’s/Memory Care. Since 1931, The Life Center has been, “Serving the Needs of Persons of All Faiths”.

A leadership opportunity exists for a well-qualified individual in a well-established Rehabilitation, Long Term Care and CCDI environment. A facility where your professional and managerial skills will be challenged and nurtured. Change management skills, conflict resolution and ability to identify growth opportunities are essential qualities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality care throughout the facility. Education and implementation of policies and procedures is required. Strong ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary team is essential. Pay is negotiable depending on experience.

A qualified candidate will meet the following requirements:
*Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred with 2 + years of Director of Nursing experience is required
*Long-term care experience is required
*Extensive knowledge of Skilled/Rehabilitation and Dementia Care is highly preferred
*Must display and understand State and Federal regulations and CMS requirements
