Employee Health Nurse

1st shift: Full-time opportunity available

DUTIES: Collaborate with the Human Resources department to identify and provide the needed educational programs and opportunities for nursing personnel. Handle the employee illness log and be the point of contact for that. Conducts employee nursing assessments including lift test for post offer employees, offers and provides flu vaccines, offers and provides Hepatitis B vaccine if requested and provides TB testing.

REQUIREMENTS: Must have current LPN with IV certification or RN license in the state of Iowa. Knowledge of worker’s compensation process and practice. Experience with medical assessments and vaccinations. Teaching and/or public speaking experience. Must be able to read, speak and write fluent English.
