Employee Health Nurse

Western Home Communities is seeking to add an Employee Health Nurse to our team who would work Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM. If you value a set schedule and working with a close team, please apply on our website!

Responsibilities:
Collaborates with the Human Resources department to identify and provide the needed educational programs and opportunities for nursing personnel
Handles the employee illness log and is the point of contact for that
Conducts employee nursing assessments including the lift test for post offer employees
Offers and provides flu vaccines and Hepatitis B vaccine if requested
Provides TB testing

Requirements:
Must have current LPN or RN license in the state of Iowa
Knowledge of worker’s compensation process and practice
Experience with medical assessments and vaccinations
Teaching and/or public speaking experience
