Northern Iowa Therapy (NIT) will be opening our newest division, Home Health, this spring!
Who are we? For over 26 years, NIT has provided outstanding Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy to residents and patients in SNF, ALF, IL, Outpatient and Pediatrics throughout the State of Iowa. Our new HH division will close the loop, allowing us to provide a full continuum of care using evidence-based therapy to achieve the best outcomes. What are we looking for? We are currently seeking a Home Health Administrator for our new division. This position will be responsible for the overall management of the Home Health division and will work closely with our leadership team.
This position required a Bachelor’s Degree. An RN license is preferred but not mandatory.
Who are YOU? The ideal candidate will have:
• A working understanding of health care administration
• Be familiar with Medicare and private insurance platforms,
• Be comfortable in a fast-paced team oriented environment
• Have a successful history of leading, mentoring and management
As we establish this new division, you will join our leadership team in developing the ‘nuts and bolts’ of this HH division, helping to establish us as the leading HH organization in all of Iowa
Your responsibilities and sphere of influence will grow as this division takes shape but will initially include:
• Oversight of all staff operations, patient flow and coordination of patient services, and budget development
• Working with the Regional Clinical Managers in supervising and managing performance of the clinicians in the field.
• Ensuring compliance with all IA and Federal laws and regulations governing HH
• Joining in marketing events to spread awareness throughout the community.
This position:
• May require occasional travel including occasional overnight stays.
• May be based in Waverly (at our Headquarters) or Iowa City (at our satellite office)
• Will be fully supported by our administrative support team, recruiting and HR team, finance and billing team, and executive management.
