Scottish Rite Park, a Continuing Care Retirement Community, (CCRC) is searching for a strong candidate with a culinary background and management experience to take over responsibility of production of food and kitchen staff. We are searching for a creative professional who is driven to contributing to prep work, line work, and one who will delegate. This individual will report to the Culinary Director and have the opportunity to create menus and train staff.

This job requires approximately 40 hours a week with nights, weekends and holidays.

Brief Job Description:

Willing to work a flexible schedule
Ensure a clean and safe work environment
Assist in hiring, training, and discipline of staff
Assist with scheduling to ensure appropriate staff to meet demand
Maintain inventory levels and conduct weekly inventory and audits
Schedule and oversee necessary maintenance and repairs of kitchen appliances and equipment
Assist Culinary Director with menu changes and adjustments
Work as a team with other dietary management in regards to changes and improvements
Respond to guest questions and concerns

5+ years culinary/restaurant experience
2+ years supervisory or management experience
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
ServSafe Certification
Culinary Arts Degree a plus
