Maintenance Director

English Valley Nursing Care Center/Valley View Assisted Living is seeking a Maintenance Director for its small rural skilled nursing facility and assisted living center. The facility is located in the heart of North English and possess a family atmosphere with a team environment.
The Maintenance Director is expected to perform the following functions:
• Maintain active participation in the facility’s interdepartmental team
• Provide an active role in the facility’s Quality Assurance Program
• Maintain a current and working knowledge of all regulations involving Life Safety and Facility Operations
• Complete all work order requests in an efficient and timely manner
• Perform routine maintenance checks on various types of equipment
• Keep all required logs current
• Obtain bids on equipment or vendors from
• Perform landscaping and light snow removal duties
• Work on call for facility emergencies
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair most mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC system
• Have basic carpentry, painting, and flooring skills
