Nurse Supervisor

Western Home Communities is seeking a Nurse Supervisor who will travel to all Western Home Services locations to fulfill any needed assistance. If you are interested in this opportunity, please submit an application on our website today!

Responsibilities:
Travels to WHS network locations to back up any needed position for circumstances such as FMLA, LOA, backfilling positions, etc.
Directs and supervises nursing personnel assignments/schedules to accomplish all goals for resident care
Prepares, reviews and supervises the implementation and revision of care plans to maintain the highest possible degree of independence
Provides mentoring support to nurse leaders and nurses

Requirements:
Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Iowa
Has approximately three years experience in geriatric nursing
Has approximately three years experience in supervision and administration of nursing services
BSN preferred
Must be able to travel to WHS network locations when needed
