Pediatric Homecare Clinical Supervisor – Full Time – Johnston

We have an opening for a Clinical Supervisor for our Homecare Team. This leader is directly responsible for ensuring the clinical needs of each child is assessed, planned, and evaluated. This supervisor ensures staff are engaged in their work and are participating effectively as a team in the delivery of care. This individual will also serve as the care manager for assigned children and is responsible for maintaining the eligibility of the children enrolled in the homecare service.

What You’ll Need

Current valid license as a Registered Nurse in Iowa
Pediatric Nursing Certification or ability to obtain within 2 years of hire
Documentation of current American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification
Nursing experience in the field of developmental disabilities, pediatrics, and/or skilled patients preferred
One year experience in home health care service delivery preferred
2 years’ supervisory experience or 3 years’ experience in the coordination of care in lieu of supervisory experience preferred
Must be able to lift, position, and /or carry a maximum of 35 pounds independently
Knowledge of clinical terminology and modalities of care delivery systems; good communication and organizational skills; skilled in the use of computers; commitment in providing premiere nursing service required
Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing and speaking the English language
