Registered Nurse (RN) at Winding Creek Meadows

The Registered Nurse at Winding Creek Meadows Assisted Living in Jesup, Iowa will be responsible for providing direct tenant care under the supervision of the Director of Winding Creek Meadows

POSITION DETAILS INCLUDE:
1st shift hours
Part-time (approximately 24 hours/week) -can discuss additional hours if needed
On-call nurse, as needed

DUTIES:
Maintains awareness of the condition of all residents under their care; being alert to clinical signs and symptoms that indicate progress or indicate adverse reactions to prescribed treatments
Accurately administers all medications, treatments and physician orders, taking ultimate responsibility for resident care
Effectively communicates resident needs, progress and special problems of care on an ongoing basis with physicians and immediate supervisor
Nurtures open communication with residents, nursing personnel, physicians, clergy, dietary, families and all other persons who influence resident progress
Create and maintain individualized service plans for tenants based off assessment and review of services and follow regulatory guidelines, as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of a state board approved RN school.
Currently licensed in Iowa.
Current in CPR certification or willing to achieve it.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Must be available as on call Nurse as needed
Must be able to do many different functions, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.
Must be able to work under stress when confronted with critical or unusual situations.
