RN (Cedar Falls, IA)

Your day-to-day will include (but not limited to) building relationships with those you serve and work alongside, supervising the resident care received, and accurately communicating, documenting and administering needed medications/treatments/etc. based on physician orders. What you’ll do:
-Effectively communicates resident needs with physicians and immediate supervisor
-Completes resident assessments as required; supervises LPN in data gathering of information
-Maintains awareness of the condition of all residents under their care
-Accurately administers all medications, treatments and physician orders; taking ultimate responsibility for resident care
-Confers with Director of Nursing on an ongoing basis with special problems of care, resident transfers, management of workload, etc.
-Coordinates preparation and planning of resident admission; giving proper recognition to the real and potential contribution of family and others in planning nursing care
-Provides for emotional and physical comfort and safety of residents, and emotional support to families
-Supervises, assists, consults with and teaches certified nursing assistants

What you’ll need:
-Graduate of a state board approved RN school
-Currently licensed in Iowa
-Current in CPR certification or willing to achieve it
-This is an hourly position, which means you must be able and willing to work weekends and holidays as required/needed
-Exceptional attendance
