RN – HH Clinical Manager
Northern Iowa Therapy (NIT) will be opening our newest division, Home Health, this spring!
Who are we? For over 26 years, NIT has provided outstanding Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy to residents and patients in SNF, ALF, IL, Outpatient and Pediatrics throughout the State of Iowa. Our new HH division will close the loop, allowing us to provide a full continuum of care using evidence-based therapy to achieve the best outcomes. What are we looking for? We are currently seeking a Clinical Manager for our new division. This position will be responsible for all home health clinical services including coordination of patient services, quality outcomes of clinical services and occasional supervision and training of team members
This position required an RN license.
Who are YOU? The ideal candidate will have:
• A minimum of three years experience in a Home Health organization, preferrable in a management role
• Be familiar with Home Health regulations and standards,
• Be comfortable in a fast-paced team oriented environment
• Have a successful history of leading, mentoring and management
As we establish this new division, you will join our leadership team in developing clinical programs for this HH division and helping to establish us as the leading HH organization in all of Iowa
Your responsibilities and sphere of influence will grow as this division takes shape but will initially include:
• Coordinating and overseeing all direct and indirect patient services provided by nursing personnel including providing help in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient and family/caregiver care to all clinical personnel, as indicated
• Daily review and approval of all clinical personnel documentation in EMR including OASIS, Evaluation, Discharge, Physician Orders, Visits and other necessary documents
• Ensuring proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws
• Completing compliance audits of all personnel documentation including:
Review OASIS for accuracy
Review coding for accuracy
Review 485s for accuracy and timeliness
Review documentation for accuracy and timeliness
• Manage QAPI indicators and present findings at QAPI meetings
• Joining in marketing events to spread awareness throughout the community.
This position:
• May require occasional travel including occasional overnight stays.
• May be based in Waverly (at our Headquarters) or Iowa City (at our satellite office)
• Will be fully supported by our administrative support team, recruiting and HR team, finance and billing team, and executive management.
