Activity professionals can enter to win a free Spring Conference registration

The IHCA Activity Professionals Advisory Council is offering five complimentary full two-day registrations to IHCA’s Spring Conference, March 25–26 at Prairie Meadows in Altoona. To be considered, activity professionals are invited to reflect on the heart of their work — the moments, motivations and meaning that drive what they do each day. Facility administrators and leaders are encouraged to pass this opportunity along to their activity professionals.

Entry prompt: Why do I do this job?

Submissions may be shared in any one of the following formats:

  • Short written reflection (maximum 1 page)
  • Short video (maximum 3 minutes)
  • PowerPoint presentation (maximum 10 slides)
  • Graphic or visual design (maximum 1 page)

Submissions are due by Thursday, March 5. Upload submissions here.

Winners will be selected by the IHCA Activity Professionals Advisory Council on Monday, March 9, and will be notified later that week.

Please note: To be eligible to receive a free registration, you must be employed in the activity department of an IHCA member organization. Recipients are responsible for transportation to and from the conference, as well as any other expenses related to the event (such as lodging and meals). The free registration is non-transferable. If you cannot attend the conference, the free registration is forfeited.
