As the largest association representing Iowa’s long-term care providers, IHCA members have a powerful voice, but it only makes a difference when we show up and speak out.
Each year, IHCA’s Day on the Hill, sponsored by Martin Bros. Distributing Co., Inc., brings long-term care leaders together at the Iowa Capitol to meet directly with legislators and share how policy decisions affect residents, patients, staff and communities across the state. Hearing from providers in person plays a critical role in advancing IHCA’s advocacy priorities during the legislative session, and this year’s event is an important opportunity to make those connections count.

- 10:30 a.m. – Registration at IHCA office
- 11:00 a.m. – Lunch
- 11:30 a.m. – Board IHCA motorcoach
- 12:00 p.m. – Capitol visit
- 2:00 p.m. – Board IHCA motorcoach and transport back to IHCA office
- 2:30 p.m. – Brief debriefing at IHCA office – adjourn
