MDS Principles on Feb. 25-26

Join IHCA for MDS Principles – A Comprehensive Introduction to MDS 3.0, a program designed for MDS coordinators, nurse assessment coordinators (NACs) and other staff new to MDS. This live virtual event on Feb. 25-26 will provide participants with the knowledge and tools needed to accurately complete MDS 3.0 assessments, ensure proper reimbursement and support quality care in skilled nursing settings.

The program will cover all sections of the MDS 3.0, including item rationale, assessment steps, coding instructions and tips, along with guidance on Care Area Assessments (CAAs), care planning, OBRA/PPS scheduling and the Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM). Participants will leave with a clear understanding of how to implement MDS data accurately, optimize outcomes and meet regulatory requirements.

This event is approved for 12.0 contact hours for nurses, social workers and administrators. Registration grants live access only — the program will not be recorded.
