Join IHCA for its in-person Assisted Living Management Certification (ALMC) Program and Assisted Living (AL) Regulatory Class this April. These courses are designed for assisted living nurses, directors and other clinical leaders who need to complete training required by the Department of Inspections, Appeals and Licensing (DIAL).
The ALMC Program takes place from April 6-9 and certifies participants to serve as AL managers in the state of Iowa, meeting the training requirements outlined in Iowa Administrative Code 481—69.29(1). The program covers a wide range of topics including regulatory standards, clinical practices, operational procedures and leadership development.
The AL Regulatory Class on April 8 serves as the third day of the ALMC Program and fulfills the Iowa regulatory requirement outlined in Iowa Administrative Code 481—69.29(6). Upon successful completion, participants will be equipped to serve as delegating nurses in Iowa AL programs and ensure compliance with state regulations. The AL Regulatory Class will be offered through a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend either in-person or virtually.
The ALMC Program is approved for 24.0 contact hours and the AL Regulatory Class is approved for 7.0 contact hours for nurses, AL managers and nursing facility administrators. Register for the four-day ALMC Program or the AL Regulatory Class below.
