The Hospital and Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS) is conducting its annual Nursing Home Salary and Benefits study and requests provider participation. Providers are asked to complete the study’s questionnaire by May 11; the report will be published in July. The Nursing Home Report is published by HCS and supported by AHCA.
A separate CCRC Salary and Benefits study is also underway. The deadline for this study is April 20 and the CCRC Report will be published in June.
There is no cost to participate. Participants may purchase the results at the reduced price of $200, versus the $400 nonparticipant rate. Extensions are always available to ensure everyone has ample opportunity to participate. Questionnaires may be downloaded here.
Both studies cover salaries, bonus data and hourly rates for over 100 positions. Compensation data is reported regionally by profit type, unit size and revenue size, as well as by state and core-based statistical area (CBSA). The study also covers 19 fringe benefits and includes questions on staffing metrics pertaining to retention and recruitment strategies, including shift differential pay, sign-on bonuses, turnover and vacancy rates, granted or budgeted percent increases and trend data.
Last year’s Nursing Home Report contained data from 917 nursing homes and included data from 111,600+ employees. The CCRC Report contained data from 517 CCRCs and covered 90,100+ employees.
By participating, providers will not only strengthen the accuracy of national benchmarks but also gain access to vital data that can guide their staffing and compensation strategies in 2026.
