Join IHCA for its Life Safety, Fire Safety and Emergency Preparedness Seminars in two locations this April. The events will provide strategies for proactive emergency preparedness in long-term care facilities and guidance on regulatory expectations.
The seminars will provide interactive sessions and a panel discussion for questions and regulatory conversations. Session topics include Life Safety Code, inspections, testing and maintenance, CMS emergency preparedness requirements and the disaster management cycle.
The seminars will be offered in Eastern and Western Iowa, with one program in Cedar Rapids on April 21 and another in Denison on April 22. All elements of the program will be the same for both events, and programming is approved for 6.5 contact hours for nursing facility administrators, department heads and environmental services professionals.
