Talent Acquisition Specialist

Position Description: As a member of the Human Resources team, our Talent Acquisition Specialist will champion the recruitment of all open positions within the Western Home Communities, including all internal and external postings, attending career fairs, and managing other recruiting resources to aid in talent acquisition. Our goal is to build relationships and a broad network of contacts throughout the Cedar Valley and surrounding communities and to hire the best talent to carry out our mission, vision and values of Western Home Communities.

Requirements:
2-years post-high school education in Business, HR, or Management, with a minimum of one year related recruiting/talent acquisition experience; or high school diploma with at least three year’s related experience.

Excellent personal computer skills, including Word and Excel. Prefer experience with Human Resource Information System (HRIS) programs.

Excited to cultivate and maintain relationships with members of the community, potential employees, and businesses and colleges in the community.

Passionate about representing Western Home Communities as an employer within our communities

Flexible to work occasional evenings and early mornings as needed.

Ability to read, write and speak fluent English.

As a team member, you will work alongside the HR Team to manage the overall candidate experience including; planning, strategy development, candidate sourcing and screening, evaluation, interviewing and strategically identifying qualified individuals to join our organization. Additionally, this team member should display a positive attitude that supports a team environment and works to communicate with appropriate departments to identify recruiting needs. This team member will work to build and maintain a tracking system for all resumes and applications, and will sustain working knowledge of employee handbook, policy and procedure manuals and all benefit plans to correctly answer questions from employees or supervisors. Organizational skills, communication and self-motivation are highly regarded skills for this position.
