Membership Types and Benefits

Organization Member

Any nursing facility, assisted living, residential care, senior housing facility, home care agency or private duty agency is eligible to join. All beds, units, services must be included in the membership. IHCA, ICAL, ICHC bylaws state: “if member controls more than one nursing facility, assisted living, residential care, senior housing facility, home care agency, private duty agency, or ancillary company, it shall have 100% of those facilities or programs in membership of Iowa Health Care Association (IHCA), Iowa Center for Assisted Living (ICAL), and Iowa Center for Home Care (ICHC).” Members receive access to discounted educational resources, legislative and regulatory representation, news and information, networking opportunities, group purchasing programs and more. Membership in the national affiliates is also included. Associate Member

Any hospice, pharmacy, therapy, business, firm, organization, corporation or group that provides services to the long-term care profession is eligible to join. Associate members receive opportunities to connect with providers through sponsorships, trade shows and advertising, access to key contacts with mailing lists, industry news and information and discounts on educational opportunities.
