Session Descriptions
Leading in High-Pressure, High Visibility Environments – Speaker: Beth Goetz
In long-term care, leadership often means making difficult decisions under constant pressure and close scrutiny. Beth Goetz understands this reality well. As Athletic Director for the University of Iowa Athletics, she leads in one of the most visible and demanding roles in collegiate sports, where every decision is closely watched and expectations are high.
In this session, Beth will share insights on leading with confidence in high-pressure environments and why true leadership is defined not when things are easy, but by how you respond when the stakes are highest. Her perspective will resonate with long-term care leaders who navigate survey cycles, staffing challenges, family expectations and countless other demands each day.
Thriving in the Chaos of Change – Speaker: Molly Mackey
This dynamic session delves into the art and science of lasting change, empowering participants to navigate transitions with resilience and purpose. Explore practical strategies to not only adapt to change but to become champions of transformation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within your organization.
Defining Your Values and Owning Your Career Path – Speaker: Kelly Keefe
In this interactive session, Kelly Keefe shares candid lessons from her career journey and guides attendees through identifying the core values that shape their own definition of success. Participants will begin defining the 3–5 non-negotiable values that influence their career decisions, growth and overall satisfaction.
Through practical reflection and real-world examples, this session will also explore how to build meaningful professional relationships, confidently engage with leaders at all levels and make intentional career moves aligned with what matters most. Attendees will leave not only with new perspective, but with a personalized framework they can continue using to guide their careers long after the session ends.
Color, Confidence and Everyday Impact – Speaker: Carissa Beer
Discover how intentional use of color and personal style can do more than elevate your look—it can positively impact your mood, boost confidence and simplify your daily routine. This session explores how small, thoughtful choices can help you show up with clarity and energy in both your professional and personal life.
You’ll walk away with practical, easy-to-apply tips to streamline your wardrobe, reduce decision fatigue and create a style approach that works for you. It’s a fresh, approachable perspective that brings a little more ease—and a lot more joy—into your day.
