Webinar Description
Ready, Set, Belong.
A successful onboarding experience is more than paperwork and introductions—it’s about creating a sense of belonging from day one. When new hires feel connected, valued and aligned with the culture, they don’t just join the team—they engage, contribute and thrive.
Onboarding by Design is an interactive workshop that helps organizations transform onboarding into a powerful tool for retention, culture-building and performance. Rather than leaving first impressions to chance, this workshop equips leaders with intentional strategies to design onboarding experiences that foster confidence and connection.
Participants will learn how to
- Build a welcoming culture where new hires feel they belong from the start.
- Clarify roles, expectations and success measures early on.
- Accelerate trust, engagement and contribution within the first 90 days.
- Turn onboarding into a long-term driver of loyalty and performance.
This workshop ensures that new hires don’t just start working—they start belonging.

Speaker
Spencer Morris has 17+ years of experience in the skilled nursing industry, starting as a director of marketing and admissions, then a licensed nursing home administrator and later a regional director of operations. During those years of operating, overseeing and supporting multiple facilities, it became clear that bringing on and developing great leaders, in partnership with improved team culture, would produce the clinical and financial results. Two years ago, Spencer started his own company, Pathway Consulting, where he supports many teams in focusing their efforts on intentional leadership and team culture development.
