Administrator
The primary purpose of the Administrator’s position is to direct the overall operation of Good Shepherd Health Care Center’s (210 bed capacity nursing home) activities in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations; and as directed by the Chief Executive Officer,. The Administrator should provide a Christian atmosphere and develop programs to fulfill the physical, mental, psycho-social, and spiritual needs of the residents. The Administrator should ensure the facility’s services are available to residents who are in need of skilled or intermediate level of nursing care and related medical services without regard to sex, race, religion or national origin. The Administrator is responsible for the business and marketing activities; the management of finances; and the management of personnel. The Administrator is empowered to delegate authority and responsibility in order to accomplish the faith-based mission and goals of Good Shepherd, Inc. The Administrator reports to the Chief Executive Officer. Requirements: State of Iowa Nursing Home Administrator’s License;
