Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

We are looking for a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for our small town nursing home located in Fayette, Iowa.
The Assistant Director of Nursing works with the Director of Nursing to provide and manage the Nursing Department including but not limited to human and material resources. The Assistant Director of Nursing has primary responsibility and accountability for the provision, planning, organization, development and direction of quality nursing services and care to facility residents and families in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to facility policies and procedures and budgetary guidelines. Technical and professional assistance and guidance will be made available by the Director of Nursing, Administrator, Medical Director, and Nurse consultant.
On-call duties
Qualifications:
**Active Iowa Nursing, LPN or RN License
**Required – A minimum of one year of management experience, preferably in Geriatric Nursing
**Must have excellent oral and written communication skills specific to the English language
