Clinical Educator
The clinical educator shall serve as a role model, clinical nursing expert, change agent, mentor, and leader to the Health Services division within Northcrest Community.
The Clinical Educator shall maximize Northcrest’s commitment to quality and service to our residents by assisting and providing training for our clinical and contracted staff, including orientation and onboarding to the Health Services departments In Assisted Living, Health Center, Home Health and Heartwood House.
With the approval of the Administrator, the Clinical Educator shall develop an annual educational calendar, which addresses gaps in competencies, provides Certified Nurse’s Aides with required annual training plans, conducts monthly in-services, and promotes essential competencies to improve care service levels for our residents.
The Clinical Educator shall assess quality of care through staff and resident assessments, and audits to identify areas of improvement or areas of risk. Develop and implement training plans for quality assurance and improvement to underperforming areas.
