Director of Admissions and Social Services


The Admissions/Marketing Director is expected to be well connected and capable of developing strategic partnerships that will drive new business partnerships and help build our brand in the community. The Admissions Director is responsible for external sales and marketing of the facility within this setting. Position is responsible for the coordinating with and helping to manage and direct the facility’s strategic sales growth with regard to census/revenue. Coordinates development of sales objectives, strategies, advertising and promotional programs and ensures their execution. The Admissions Director is also responsible for completing pre-admission assessment. The assessment is meant to prepare SNF for admission in order to meet the clinical and psychosocial needs of the resident. This assessment process may include professional contact with physicians, discharge planners, medical records departments and other hospital and community affiliated medical professionals with knowledge of the resident’s case history. Such contact is intended to apprise each medical professional of the availability of the SNF’s services. Position is responsible for completing admission paperwork with residents and/or responsible parties.

The primary purpose of the Director of Social Services is to identify and provide for each resident social, emotional and psychological needs, and to continuing development of the residents full potential during his/her stay at the facility and to assist in the planning of his/her discharge.
