Director Of Nursing

Mississippi Valley Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center is a skilled nursing facility that specializes in ventilator care. We are currently seeking a full-time Director of Nursing (DON) who will administer and oversee its nursing program. The DON will work closely with the ADON, medical director and pulmonologist to ensure the highest quality of care for its resident-centered environment. The DON provides direct oversight, coaching and supervision of the staff nurses and certified nursing assistants.

Qualifications:

Current unrestricted RN license
Critical care or ventilator and geriatric experience is a must
Minimum of 2+ years’ experience as either a DON or nursing manager
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with MatrixCare is a plus
Knowledge of Medicare & Medicaid guidelines
