Summit Pointe Senior Living Community is a beautiful and upscale senior housing community offering Independent and Assisted Living as well as Memory Care in Marion, IA that has won both Bronze and Silver National Quality Awards!!

Our team is committed to providing exceptional customer service to our tenants and their families as well as superior care.  This position will require someone to ensure all nursing staff members are practicing our standards
Essential functions include:
-The ability to develop the nursing team staff members; must be a team builder and have experience supervising in a healthcare role, interviewing, on-boarding, executing performance evaluations, and training new and current staff
-Coordinate the care of tenants
-Assists in regulatory compliance and quality assurance – Demonstrates competence in assessment skills and medication administration
-Willing and capable to work as a CNA when needed, on any shift
-Assists with the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures

-Shares on-call responsibilities with other nurse
-Assures that staffing is in place according to tenant needs
-Supervises staff and assures compliance on a daily basis
-Maintain respectful and professional conduct with fellow managers and staff

-Maintains prompt and regular attendance
-Current knowledge of state and federal assisted living regulations
-Computer skills including: email, word processing, spreadsheet use, work scheduling systems and related long term care software
-Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
