Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate all nursing department activities to ensure quality care and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Lead and support nursing staff, promoting autonomy, professional growth, and accountability among charge nurses and clinical teams.

Maintain and build upon the facility’s strong survey history and 5-star performance.

Ensure that all care practices and documentation meet regulatory standards and best practices.

Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless operations and outstanding resident outcomes.

Qualifications:

Current RN license in good standing.

Proven experience as a Director of Nursing or Assistant DON in a skilled nursing facility required.

Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, survey readiness, and quality improvement processes.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
