Household Coordinator

1st shift: Full-time opportunity available (40 hours/week) at the Deery Suites

DUTIES: Embrace the household model. Keep the overall function of the household running smoothly. Work with household leadership teams, the clinical and community mentors, the household coordinators and nurse mentors to form a household council that will serve all households in a guiding and supportive role. Enhances relationships in the household through shared activities of living and promoting compassionate service among the team by offering emotional, psychological and spiritual support to all

REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to demonstrate interpersonal sensitivity and communication skills. At least two years of long term care experience required. Must be able to demonstrate the following competencies: person-centered, resident-directed care, servant leadership, and critical thinking skills. A background in social services or a degree in that field is preferred. Completed or enrolled in a state approved nurse aide training and competency evaluation program. Maintaining/be in good standing with the Nurse Aide Registry within 3-6 months of hire.
