Infection Control Nurse/MDS Coordinator

Infection Control Nurse/MDS Coordinator is a combined position.

Responsibilities include collecting, analyzing and providing infection data and trends to nursing staff and health care practitioners, consulting on infection risk, assessment, prevention and control strategies, providing education and training, and implementing evidence based infection control practices.

MDS coordinator asses and monitors proper treatment for residents in nursing homes. they determine the health status, care plans and procedures for intake of residents according to state and federal standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and the team to create health care plans for the patients.
