Nurse Mentor

1st shift: Full-time opportunity available

DUTIES: Accurately administers all medications, treatments and physician orders, taking ultimate responsibility for resident care. Effectively communicates resident needs, progress and special problems of care on an ongoing basis with physicians and immediate supervisor. Accurately documents medications and progress in resident charts during shift. Evaluates delivery of nursing care given by resident assistants; assesses their abilities and follows procedures for record keeping according to the established criteria.

REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of a state board approved RN school. Currently licensed in Iowa. Successful completion of state mandatory supervisory course within six months of employment. Current in CPR certification or willing to achieve it. Must be able to read, speak and write fluent English
