Program Director: CNA Instructor
Exciting New Opportunity!! Currently Hiring Program Director/CNA Instructor for American Institute of Caring.
The Program Director functions as an interdependent and objective leader who evaluates, reviews, oversees and implements all training programs, development tools and curriculum development activities bridging the gap between training needs and available programs for local employer groups, communities, other health care agencies, organizations and Government entities.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and direct a health-focused educational academy. This position will be immediately responsible for initiation and execution of a developed CNA program.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Develops, initiates, maintains, and revises policies and procedures for the general operation of the Health Education Program
Directly markets to employer groups and organizations on the educational offerings helping employers meet their recruitment, staffing and training needs.
Presents health education and promotion programs such as training workshops, conferences, or community presentations.
Serves as a champion regarding leadership, collaboration, team functioning, service excellence and interpersonal skills while maintaining a fiscally economical and efficient business operation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Iowa Nursing License (RN)
2 Years of Employment History in a regulated skilled Iowa nursing facility
Knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations as it relates to the operations of an education training program
Knowledge of human resources laws and regulations
Knowledge of administrative and clinical operations as it relates to a training program
Ability to effectively listen and communicate with clients/consumers, colleagues, and Leadership Team.
Ability to maintain and manage confidential information
Ability to work with a variety of clients/consumers with special needs
Ability to provide punctual and dependable services to clients/consumers
Ability to obtain a valid driver’s license and maintain proper auto insurance
Ability to independently operate a vehicle and travel around the State of Iowa in a variety of weather on American Institute of Caring business.
Knowledge of organizational methods and the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
Ability to work daily and extended hours as required
Ability to independently create presentation materials
