Essential Functions:
• Act as a liaison between facility and Senior Regional Director of Operations (SRDO);
• Onboard Administrators and Executive Directors;
• Assist with preparation of training manuals and materials;
• Assume responsibility with training HCI facility processes (Operations and Finance: cash management, A/P, A/R, Billing, Payroll, and Resident Trust);
• Conduct facility visits as determined by Senior Director of Operations;
o Facility rounding of entire campus (inside & out);
o Review dining services;
o Participate in Stand-up, QAPI, Medicare, Safety, and Employee Engagement meetings;
o Assist with facility DIA visits and surveys, if necessary;
o Review Focus of the Day to ensure compliance;
o Provide guidance and resources for employee recruitment and retention;
o Ensure staffing plans are followed;
o Assist with the implementation and ongoing use of an Employee Engagement Committee;
o Review outstanding A/R balances and provide assistance with collection efforts.
o Ensure facility marketing and census development is active (social media and website);
• Assist Administrator/Executive Directors with Management File and Score Card preparations;
• Participate in Operations team meetings;
• Assist with facility budget process;
• Accept and perform additional duties as requested by SRDO;
• Always present an appropriate professional appearance;
• Consistently demonstrate dependability, responsibility, and set a positive example for others.
Location:
Oversight includes facilities across Iowa and Eastern Nebraska. This position requires travel and occasional overnights.
Education & Experience:
Nursing Home Administrator licensure in the State of Iowa required, with a minimum of three-year’s experience in long-term care management. Proven management with demonstrated leadership is required.
