Session Descriptions
The Future in Focus: Preparing Your Organization for What’s Ahead
The traditional concept of strategic planning—fixed goals, linear action steps, and rigid timelines—falls short in today’s rapidly changing environment. Health care providers are operating in a world where challenges emerge overnight, and opportunities evolve faster than any document can capture. What leaders need instead is a nimble, values-driven approach that establishes clear priorities and success measures, while leaving space to adapt as circumstances shift.
This session will explore what it looks like to lead with a dynamic strategy framework that balances stability with flexibility. Rather than treating the future as a set of predetermined milestones, leaders will learn how to anchor their organizations to vision and non-negotiables while retaining the agility to respond to emerging workforce, regulatory, and reimbursement realities. Attendees will gain insights into how this approach positions organizations not only to withstand disruption, but to thrive in it.
30:30:30: Key Strategies for Census Growth, Involuntary Transfers, and Service Plans in Assisted Living
The Assisted Living landscape involves several factors that may present challenges for providers. In this session, we’ll explore three key areas: census development, the involuntary transfer process, and service plan development. This session will dedicate 30 minutes highlighting practice strategies for each topic.
30:30:30: Compliance, Quality, and Infection Control in Skilled Nursing Facilities
This session delivers focused updates and strategies in three key areas shaping today’s SNF environment: PBJ audits and F-tags, CMS Five-Star changes, and Enhanced Barrier Precautions. Each 30-minute segment provides clear takeaways to support compliance readiness, improve quality metrics, and strengthen infection prevention practices.
