Session Descriptions
The Resident Application Process: What’s Legal and What’s Not? – Speakers: Adam Freed and Mike Jenkins
Gain clarity on what you can—and can’t—ask during the admissions process. This session breaks down fair housing requirements, protected classes and common application pitfalls so you can confidently evaluate prospective residents while staying compliant.
Fundraising Skills and Resources for Dynamic Times – Speaker: Mollie Giller
Fundraising can feel overwhelming, intimidating and like one more thing on your already full plate—but it doesn’t have to. Whether your organization is looking to strengthen an established development program or take its fundraising efforts to the next level, this session will provide practical strategies to build momentum and increase results. Everyone, regardless of role or experience, has the ability to contribute to successful fundraising, and this training offers proven tools, fresh ideas and actionable insights to help elevate your organization’s fund development efforts.
The New CCP Playbook: Rethinking Revenue in a Changing Market – Speaker: Kelly Keefe
Care continuum communities have long relied on traditional revenue models—but the market is shifting. Rising acuity, value-based care and changing consumer expectations are creating both pressure and opportunity. In this session, we’ll explore how forward-thinking organizations are diversifying revenue beyond the monthly fee model. Drawing from real-world examples, we’ll examine strategies such as expanding into home-based services, leveraging clinical capabilities, participating in value-based arrangements and forming new partnerships across the care continuum. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of where new revenue opportunities are emerging, what it takes operationally to pursue them and how to evaluate which strategies align best with their organization’s strengths and market position.
