Program Description
Earning an AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award is a prestigious achievement that recognizes long-term and post-acute care providers committed to continuous quality improvement. If your organization is ready to take the first step on this respected journey, this interactive workshop is your opportunity to complete the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award application from start to finish with expert guidance and coaching along the way.
This workshop is about more than an application. You’ll gain a deep understanding of what examiners look for and how to leverage the award criteria as a powerful tool for performance improvement. Learn how the award process can help your team focus, align, and accelerate your quality journey — transforming your organization into a high-performing, person-centered provider of care.
Facilities participating in the workshop will have the exclusive opportunity to submit their completed Bronze application for a one-time review by IHCA’s quality and regulatory experts—for an additional fee. This optional review provides personalized feedback to help strengthen your application before submission, increasing your confidence and your chances of success. Reviews must be completed within 30 days of attending the workshop to allow applicants ample time to prepare suggested revisions prior to the final submission deadline.
What to Bring
Please note that all information you bring will be for your facility’s use only; it will not be shared with or given to others at the workshop. The following items are necessary to complete the application.
