2026 Iowa Total Care Long-Term Care Workforce Scholarship
Scholarship applications are open.
Nine scholarships are available. Applications are due by May 31.
These scholarships are for employees at IHCA member organizations enrolled or accepted in an accredited long-term care degree program and taking classes during the 2026-2027 academic year.

Scholarship Criteria and Information
Applicants for this scholarship must meet all the criteria listed below to qualify:
Work for an IHCA member facility in good standing at the time of application and at the time the scholarships are awarded.
Be enrolled or accepted in an accredited program listed below and taking classes during the 2026-2027 academic year.

Submit a complete application form, including a 500-word essay, college acceptance letter or transcript and letter of recommendation, by May 31, 2026.
These scholarships are generously made possible by Iowa Total Care.
2026 Scholarship Timeline
- April 15 | Applications Open
- May 31 | Applications Close
- July 31 | The IHCA Foundation Board of Directors will judge qualified applications. Applicants will be notified of the results by the end of July.
- Aug. 30 | Awarded scholarship funds are placed in the care of the recipients' approved educational institution by the end of August to be credited to the recipient’s tuition and/or fees in the 2026-2027 academic year.
